Amy Ahart

English Language Arts

Mrs. Ahart has a Bachelor's Degree in Oxbridge English from William Jewell College. She spent her junior year in college studying abroad in Oxford, England. After college, she attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City to pursue a teaching certificate in secondary English and begin a Master's Degree in English Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Ahart continued her studies in English and American literature through Northwest Missouri State University completing eighteen hours in graduate work before starting a family. Mrs. Ahart began her career in the Park Hill School District before coming to Liberty. Mrs. Ahart, her husband, and two sons live in the Liberty area where her sons attend Discovery Middle School. In her spare time, she enjoys attending her son's swim meets or her other son's gymnastics meets. She also enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and taking care of her pets--two dogs and a cat.
