A+ Certification Quick Steps

A+ Certification Checklist

What is the A+ Program?

Step 1: Complete the A+ Application

Step 2: Watch the online A+ Training & complete the Training Agreement form

Step 3: Register as an A+ tutor

Step 4: Find ways to begin obtaining your 50 A+ tutoring hours- See a list of opportunities here

Step 5: Print the A+ Tutoring Timesheet and record all hours spent A+ student tutoring.

Step 6: Seniors ONLY: Check out your final steps to ensure certification in the A+ program here.

 

*Be sure to monitor your A+ status in PowerSchool.

**If you are below the 95% attendance requirement, submit an A+ Appeal packet no later than April 15th of your senior year.

District A+ Tutoring Opportunities

There are many options for students to obtain tutoring hours. One way is through District A+ Tutoring Opportunities. The LHS A+ Program works in conjunction with other LPS schools to help students obtain the tutoring they need.
